I also think that i have to buy the full version of resolve for the software to support h.265 or HEVC right? I did a bit of research and found out that on higher resolution, Gopro use HEVC instead of h.264 and there's no way (that i found so far) to force the Gopro to encode in h.264 instead of HEVC when recording in 2.7k or higher. i tried to unlink/relink the media but it didn't work. it says "media not found" when i import it. The problem is when i record at higher resolution (2.7k or higher) when i import the footage on my computer i can watch it with VLC but i can't see it in resolve. i did a few edits with with 1080p/60fps footage and had no problem so far.
I'm a beginner in editing and i got the free version of DaVinci.
